With all of the outrageous “Black Friday” sales and storefront deals, one of the more sentimental items to purchase is a unique limited edition print of legendary frontman, lead singer and guitarist of Sublime, Bradley Nowell.
The artistic print company, Artiitii, started by two childhood friends, including co-founder Love Carlsson from Sweden. Carlsson was influenced at an early age by Sublime, as he expressed, “All prints are special for us, but this print has a special place in my heart. Fourteen years ago I was 16 and living in a very small town in Sweden. One day, an older friend gave me a couple of mp3 files titled ‘Santeria’ and ‘What I Got’ respectively. From that day on an entire new world opened up to me.”
As this particular piece is special for the artist himself, similarly, there are millions of music fans across the globe that share the same sentiment regarding Bradley Nowell and Sublime’s music.
The artist, Love Carlsson, said, “One late night in my bedroom in Sweden I made a promise to myself. That one day I would travel to Papa Nowell’s house in Long Beach and present him an illustration, as a gesture and thank you, that his son made the world a better place. This print is a tribute to all my brothers and sisters across the world, that have conquered hard times with the help of Sublime. Just let the lovin’ take a hold and keep the PMA.”
If you, or someone else you know, are interested in finding a home for one of only 50-limited edition Bradley Nowell prints, featuring Lou Dog as well, the price is 79 Euros for the Swedish based company, or just over 100 U.S. Dollars for international consumers. The size for these particular prints is set at 28 inches by 20 inches.
As a fan of music and art, one will fall in love with the other various prints prior to Bradley Nowell’s piece. Artiitii also has similar prints highlighting Prince, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and many more.
For all the Sublime die-hard fans, this just might be the Holiday gift to complete your respective collection!
