Cali-Roots ‘Carolina Sessions’ Artist Announcement

Recently announced California Roots Carolina Sessions, has been making waves across the internet with eager fans excitedly discussing the upcoming event. Now, after releasing initial festival details last week, the first round of the artist performing at The Carolina Sessions has been announced!

Over the last four years. California Roots has become a household name for reggae rock fans on the West Coast and beyond. The Cali festival has seen incredible growth since the beginning, and 2013 was the first year that the event sold out in advance, bringing in roughly 8,000 people a day into the Monterey grounds to skank and celebrate with headliners Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution and Matisyahu.

Now the producers of the West Coast festival are bringing the party across the country to Wilmington, North Carolina on October 26th at Battleship Park. A one-day inaugural celebration of The California Roots rock and reggae lifestyle, The Carolina Sessions will be the first event of its kind on the East Coast. The producers are promising to bring a line-up that will impress, as well as a positive group of approximately 5,000 concert goers from all along the eastern seaboard.

The Carolina Sessions is set to include 2 live stages offering a roster of national and regional live music acts spanning both the West and East coasts. The first round of artist announced to perform at The Carolina Sessions are:

Dirty Heads
Tribal Seeds
Ballyhoo
Passafire
The Movement
Fear Nuttin Band
Fortuate Youth
Signal Fire

A second artist announcement will be made July 24th, and tickets for the event will go on sale Thursday, August 1st. With a strong line-up playing in the amazing atmosphere along the banks of Wilmington’s Cape Fear River, this is one of those events that you do not want to miss!
