Hawaii, are you ready for some “Smokin’ Love” this October!? Bermuda native Collie Buddz and east coast sensation, Stick Figure, will be performing together in a brief four-show tour in the Aloha State.
Stick Figure is finishing up headlining the fall leg of their Livin’ It Tour with up-and-coming San Diego natives, Hirie, and from Surf City, USA, the young and talented, Pacific Dub.
Collie Buddz has been touring a bit as well, making appearances at California Roots: The Carolina Sessions and Tampa’s Reggae Rise Up. Having attended both of these shows and Stick Figure’s fall tour, I can say that Hawaii fans will be impressed with both of their sets and the positive energy both artists instill onto their audiences. K Bong pumps up the crowd with his freestyles and Collie Buddz unites fans with songs like “Blind To You” or “Come Around,” and then you have Cocoa The Tour Dog, who always gets cheers, applause, and a lot of petting whenever she blesses us with her presence.
Mentioned above, is a new Stick Figure track called “Smokin’ Love.” This track was recently released in June and Stick Figure has been performing live all summer long. But will Hawaii get a special treat this tour? “Smokin’ Love” features Collie Buddz and this writer believes there is a very good chance Hawaii fans may get to see the “Smokin’ Love” collaboration live, with such a short tour that focuses on just both of the artists.
So, fans on the island, don’t miss out on the possibility to see an epic Stick Figure/Collie Buddz collaboration. Tickets are available at both artists’ websites at the links below & all shows seem to be between $25-$30.
