Dispatch Announce First Ever ‘Acoustic Tour’

Still reeling from the release of their sixth full-length studio album America, Location 12, Dispatch has officially announced their first ever acoustic tour – slated for 18 dates late in the Fall.

America, Location 12 was a bounce-back, revitalization of sorts for Middlebury, VT trio – their musical output had proven to be sporadic at best for the better half of the last decade. The album had plenty to offer for fans new and old, ranging from DispatchAcousticTourcrunchy riffs to the fine-tuned, delicate acoustic harmonies they’ve molded into their trademark sound for so many years. Momentum seems to be higher than ever, as the album charted at #80 on the US Billboard 200 and has breathed new life into their live performances while they continue to promote the new batch of songs.

In addition to their headlining tour with support from Guster throughout the summer, Dispatch was also seen playing featured sets at various festivals including Levitate Music Festival, and are currently wrapping up their European tour dates alongside Current Swell. To say this has been a heavier touring year than normal for Dispatch would be a massive understatement, and after their European run concludes they’ll pause for a quick breather and hit the road in November to kick off their acoustic tour in Vancouver.

The tour will take place November 26th – December 19th featuring a special three-night conclusion event at The Paradise Rock Club, and in a recent announcement the band mentioned the event “will celebrate the Calling All Crows’ 10th anniversary and their continued work for women’s rights through service and activism. There will be an intimate pre-show reception with conversation and music before each show and a service project that Sunday.” Each show will feature two sets — check the full listing of tour dates below and act quick as the venues will be smaller and more intimate for fans to enjoy the acoustic experience!
