There’s nothing like a hometown show, and SensaMotion proved it when they brought their Feel It All Around Tour to Anchor Rock Club in Atlantic City, New Jersey on November 22nd. The place was packed wall-to-wall before the night even started — friends, family, long-time supporters, everyone leaning in for a night that felt personal.![]()
First up was Kyle Ahern, lead guitarist for Rebelution, trading stadium stages for a solo acoustic setup. Jersey fans know him from plenty of local nights, but this performance pulled focus to his originals — “Rise,” “Good Will Come,” “Island Girl,” and “Loving Easy on You,” joined by Jeff McCaughey of Kings and Comrades. His performance was intimate yet commanding, a perfect way to kick off the night.
Beach Fly stepped up next and instantly shifted the energy into full-on beach-day mode. Their set was bright, breezy, and ridiculously fun, the kind of music that makes you feel like summer just walked back into the room. They rolled through favorites like “We Can Make It Work,” “Get in the Water,” and “Coconuts,” each one landing with that laid-back sway they’ve made their signature. By the end of their set, the audience was riding the wave of energy, caught up in the sun-soaked vibes that Beach Fly effortlessly delivered.
Once SensaMotion hit the stage, the Anchor Rock Club was packed shoulder to shoulder — exactly what you’d expect for a hometown show. The band has been on a major upswing this year, signing with Ineffable Records and releasing their new album Feel It All Around, which features their breakout hit “Show Love” with Stick Figure, along with collaborations with The Hip Abduction and Jacob Hemphill of SOJA. That momentum was felt in the room instantly.
The new songs landed with confidence, especially “Feel It All Around” and “The Ways,” which carried a fullness and warmth that hit even harder live. You could feel the band leaning into this new chapter, and the crowd responded right away. Every new track felt like a step forward, adding fresh energy without losing the soul that’s always been at the heart of SensaMotion’s sound.
Older songs such as “The Road” and “Take a Breath” became singalongs that had the whole room moving together, a clear reflection of the band’s deep connection with their fans. Every chorus hit with extra punch, every beat felt alive, and you could see the joy on the faces of those who’ve been there from the start. By the time “Show Love” came on, the voices in the room lifted together, and there was a shared sense that this was a band growing right before their eyes.
By the end of the set, you could feel exactly why this tour carries the name Feel It All Around. In a packed room on a cold November night, SensaMotion made it feel like summer again — warm, alive, and full of all the connection that live music is supposed to bring.
