Giant Panda & G. Love Fall Tour!

This Fall, big shots on the reggae scene Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad will be joining forces with G. Love & Special Sauce, on a kick ass tour along the East Coast and parts of the Midwest.

GPGDS will be playing a Roots Americana set at all shows from October 31 through November 17. Different from their usual psychedelic reggae concert performances, the quintet showcased this style of music on their January-released album Country.

GPGDS Bassist/Vocalist, James Searl shared his excitement with The Pier:
“I was dancing to G. Love at Water Street Music Hall (Rochester NY music spot) when I was thirteen. I know Chris and Dylan were there too. Saw him so many times that he and Special Sauce influenced us in ways we didn’t even realize. It is hard for us to think about music without thinking about G. Love & Special Sauce. Linking up with these dudes for a tour a couple years ago felt cosmic. So stoked that they asked us to come out on the road again! We hope to expand our minds and friendships even more. But seriously, we are all huge fans and have been so for well over fifteen years. A true blues man he is. Real music. Irie”

G. Love, although yet to release an album in this calendar year, will be without a doubt representing his hometown of Philadelphia out on the road this fall. With Special Sauce once again by his side, the duo will most definitely be a blowout combination on stage for the upcoming shows.
