About a month after Hawaiian reggae artist, Anuhea, announced that she is expecting her first child, Gwen Stefani is making headlines with the announcement of her 3rd baby on the way at the age of 43 w/husband & Bush vocalist, Gavin Rossdale.
Married since 2002, Stefani and Rossdale, 47, are already parents to sons Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 5. Stefani has previously revealed that she wanted a third child, saying “I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago. And it didn’t really work out, so. . . I feel good with what we’ve got. Everything works out how it should. You can’t plan anything, right? You can try.”

In March, No Doubt canceled their impending tour in continued support of their 2012 release of, Push and Shove, which was met with mixed reviews & wasn’t well embraced by the Reggae-Rock community. It was a poppier – mainstream approach, that left fans yearning for the earlier sound of what No Doubt was famous for.
At the time No Doubt canceled their tour, a post on their Facebook account explained the situation: “While touring behind comeback album ‘Push And Shove’ last year, front woman Gwen Stefani found herself inspired to write new material. The group decided to go with the unexpected creative jolt and enter the studio at the beginning of 2013.”
The 2012 album Push and Shove was the first studio album released since Rock Steady in 2001.

There hasn’t been many updates from the group in the studio since the March announcement, canceling their tour. With Gwen expecting her 3rd child, we’re not sure how this will affect future plans, but we hope it’ll only bring about a positive influence to the writing & recording process, as we at The Pier congratulate her & Rossdale on their 3rd bundle of joy!
