Inner Circle is back on Tour!

Known as the “Bad Boys of Reggae”, Jamaican-bred & two-time Grammy-winning reggae outfit, Inner Circle, will be hitting the road this summer for the first time in years, playing dates across the U.S. sharing the stage with the likes of Rebelution, Matisyahu, Collie Buddz, Yellowman and more…

Inner Circle is perhaps most known for the success of “Bad Boys,” the title track from the album of the same name, and the theme song to the television show, Cops. “Bad Boys” became a number one hit and sold seven million copies worldwide! They’re considered one of the world’s most respected reggae groups, with a long string of successes stretching back to the mid-70s before the tragic death of former lead singer, Jacob Miller.

Inner Circle will bring their pop-oriented Jamaican beats, uplifting music and positive message of humanitarianism and non-violence to California, Las Vegas, Austin, New Orleans and beyond. This tour begins on the heels of the band’s latest project Hawaii Sings, an album that was produced, mixed and recorded by the members of Inner Circle at Circle Village studios which is an extension of Inner Circle’s main studio Circle House Studios.

Hawaii Sings brings together Hawaii’s reggae stars, such as J Boog, Fiji, Mishka, Siaosi, Marty Dread and more, covering Jacob Miller’s greatest hits and also includes the re-release of Miller’s original tunes featuring Inner Circle. The album is a 20 total songs, with the first 10 featuring the guest artists and the other 10 featuring Jacob Miller.

Inner Circle’s intense loyalty to one another – and their fans – has yielded more than 30 years of chart-topping hits and world tours sharing the stage with such music icons as Elton Jon, Bob Marley, Van Morrison, The Black Crowes, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Carlos Santana and more.

“To some people a world tour is North America, Europe and Japan, but not us. If it’s on the map, we’re going there,” says Inner Circle artist Ian Lewis. “Traveling around the world, you really learn that everybody’s basically the same. Music is the highest language; it transcends politics, geography, skin color; it transcends all the things that separate people.”
