Jakobs Castle will kick off the fall leg of their Bvrnt Tour with a performance at Pyrenees Cafe in Bakersfield on November 6.
Led by Jakob Nowell – son of Bradley Nowell and the current frontman of Sublime – Jakobs Castle offers a genre-bending collection of styles. Everything from hyperpop to ska, indie rock and punk can be found within the material. Jakob has proven himself as a musical force of nature, and Jakobs Castle is the solo project that allows him to embrace the eclectic and at times experimental side of his brain.
Of course, Sublime still courses through Jakob’s veins, and there’s definitely an element of that classic reggae rock sound within Jakobs Castle as well. The singer has been known to mix Sublime songs into his Jakobs Castle sets, giving fans another highlight to look forward to at the upcoming shows. Strawberry Fuzz, Strange Case and Ill Tiempo will be joining on the upcoming trek.
Pyrenees Cafe offers the perfect launch point for this fall West Coast run. The intimate concert venue and restaurant has become one of the most popular spots in Bakersfield, even garnering an appearance on the TV show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Tickets to the Bakersfield show are available for purchase now. Ticket buyers will also receive a free limited-edition poster the night of the show.
