Mihali has dropped an uplifting new single called “Here and Now,” the latest taste from his upcoming full-length album.
The ebullient track bubbles with positive energy. There’s a palpable sense of hope that runs through the lyrics, an important message in an era that feels like it’s constantly in turmoil. Mihali isn’t here to convince you that everything is perfect. Instead, his focus is on the potential within himself — and all of us — to make the world a better place. That message shines bright on the chorus, which proclaims:
“Oh I feel it / The love it can be found / I really need it yea / To turn this thing around / I know I’ll be ok / We’re sharing in the sound / Yea I’m on my way / Back to the here and now.”
“Here and Now” was produced by Johnny Cosmic, the prolific studio veteran who has worked with many of reggae rock’s biggest acts, including Stick Figure, SOJA and The Movement. Cosmic produced Mihali’s full upcoming album Yestermorrow, due out November 7th on Ineffable Records and available for pre-save now. Guest artists on the LP include Surfer Girl and KBong.
After gaining national attention as the co-founder, lead singer and guitarist for the jam band Twiddle, Mihali has broken out as a solo act. Earlier this year he dropped the album Before the Dream, featuring collaborations with G. Love, Moon Taxi, Little Stranger, Tropidelic, and more. Mihali is currently out on his Before The Dream Tour, which runs through the end of October.
