Mission Bayfest will return to San Diego’s scenic waterfront this fall, bringing three days of reggae, alternative, and island-inspired music back to Mariner’s Point Park from October 16–18, 2026. Now entering its fifth year, the festival continues to build its reputation as one of Southern California’s most picturesque and laid-back destination events.
Set against the sweeping coastline of Mission Bay, Bayfest combines sandy shores, grassy park lawns, and sunset views of the San Diego skyline with a lineup of artists that reflects the region’s deep connection to reggae and surf culture.
This year’s festival will feature headlining sets from Rebelution, Kolohe Kai, and The Offspring, alongside a stacked supporting lineup including Steel Pulse, The Movement, Common Kings, SOJA, The Interrupters, Goldfinger, The Expendables, Surfer Girl, and Jakob’s Castle, among many others.
Single and 3-day ticket options are available at bayfestsd.com beginning March 19 via an exclusive pre-sale code, with wider general on-sale launching this Friday, March 20 at 10am PT. For those seeking an even more enhanced experience in pure comfort, VIP ticket offerings deliver a separate entry, premium viewing access, VIP-only bars and bathrooms, spacious furnished grassy area, and the famous VIP $2 tacos.

Beyond the performances, Bayfest 2026 will also feature a strong culinary and cultural component. The park’s peninsula will be lined with gourmet food trucks and local eateries, offering everything from bold street-food bites to craft cocktails served beneath shaded groves just steps from the main stage.
Festivalgoers can also browse a curated marketplace of local artisans, designers, and creators, featuring handmade goods and exclusive merchandise.
Since launching in 2022, Mission Bayfest has steadily cultivated a passionate community of reggae and beach-culture fans who gather each year at one of San Diego’s most scenic parks.
The festival is driven by three local partners:
Dominic Coleman, owner and operator at Single Fin Surf Grill and Sport Fishing
Joe Rinaldi, managing partner at Music Box in Little Italy
DJ Mikey Beats, partner at Sleeping Giant Music
Previous editions of Bayfest have hosted major names across the reggae and alternative spectrum. Last year’s festival featured performances from Slightly Stoopid, Sublime, Rebelution, Dirty Heads, Pepper, and Steel Pulse, while 2024 included Stick Figure, Tribal Seeds, Iration, Pepper, Cypress Hill, and Wiz Khalifa.
With its unique setting overlooking the bay and boat channel, Bayfest has become known for pairing sunset waterfront views with nonstop music from some of the biggest names in the scene.
