Alt-rock mainstays Moon Taxi have teamed with reggae-rock rising stars Tropidelic for the upbeat new single “Wonderful.”
The collaboration is brimming with as much positivity as its name suggests. Together, Moon Taxi and Tropidelic blend elements of funk, reggae, rock and even a splash of hip-hop vibes, creating a distinctive feel-good track.
The lyrics follow a theme of living in the moment. “Wonderful / It’s so Wonderful / Let’s not worry ‘bout a thing / It can wait until tomorrow,” the chorus proclaims, backed by a bouncy reggae rhythm. The uplifting track is both positive without being overly saccharine. Instead, Moon Taxi and Tropidelic strike all the right notes, all while blending their respective musical styles together in perfect harmony.

Moon Taxi have a handful of headlining dates and festival appearances remaining on their summer slate. Meanwhile, Tropidelic has a run of dates with Shwayze in August, before hitting the road for an extended tour with Artikal Soundsystem starting in late September.
