From Expendables Manager Donovan Haney:
Just wanted to fill you in on the Expendables current status. They just got done recording seven songs with Paul Leary (Sublime and Pepper). Producing at Big Fish Studios (Blink 182, P.O.D., Switchfoot, Slightly Stoopid have recorded there). The boys went to 24 tracks of beautiful two inch analog tape prior to going to Pro Tools, I think you will be pretty stoked when you get a chance to hear it.
Everyone lived on site at the studio for eleven days creating a perfect vibe for the tracking session. Rymo, Dela and OG from Slightly Stoopid stopped by to lend support. Overall this was the best recording experience for The Expendables to date.
The boys are looking to go back into the studio in November this time with El Hefe of NoFX producing. We are hoping to release the album some time near Spring of next year (sorry about the 2009 album list you did, but it will be worth the wait we think =)
