Fear Nuttin Band – “Vibes, Love & Revlution” (Feat. Sara Lugo)

Album Background:
The album titled track, Vibes Love & Revolution, is the closing song to the album that wraps up a release that brings it home with that love & peace vibe on an album full of bangers. It features female guest vocalist, Sara Lugo, who is from Munich, Germany.

It’s by no coincidence that Vibes Love & Revolution is set to release worldwide on Nov 6, 2012, aka: ELECTION DAY. Commanding a lyrically thought-provoking, sonically powerful & infectious sound quite unlike that of most of their peers, #FNBVLR is poised to change the way traditional listeners of reggae-rock have come to know the genre. Moreover, the overall theme throughout the record is one not of solely focused on defiance, but rather of self-awareness, preservation & the power of free thought.

Having gone the major label route in years past, Fear Nuttin preaches a message of unity & positivity, while always maintaining a think for yourself mantra — and in true DIY style, this album was produced by guitarist-turn-producer ChrisTafari ‘BoomBlaze’ Regan. He was in good company as the album brags a who’s-who list of guest artists including the ever-present support of the SOJA horn section (Rafa & Hellman); as well as appearances by Rootz Underground, Jordan Miller (of The Movement), & the aforementioned new star of soul-reggae Sara Lugo.

Fear Nuttin Band Bio/Background:
It’s been just about a year and a half since Fear Nuttin Band released their last album Move Positive (BoomBlaze Records), and it’s been no hidden fact that the band has written tirelessly while touring, and is preparing to release their 3rd full length album Vibes Love & Revolution.

Move Positive, the more roots-rock driven album charted extremely well, and activated a dedicated legion of fans to follow the band out on the road where they hit all the major stops. Highlights included a supporting slot on SOJA’s sold-out “Strength To Survive” tour, playing alongside their south-eastern reggae-rock bredrin, The Movement — as well as tour & festival dates with Toots & The Maytals, Sublime with Rome & The Expendables, Roots of Creation, Three Legged Fox, Rootz Underground, Sara Lugo & Toubab Krewe.
