Who is Rootdown!?
The new ROOTDOWN record “Tidal Wave” features ten songs produced by Grammy-winning producer Christopher Stevens (TobyMAC, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood). The band has shown significant growth and maturity since their last release “Summer of Love” in 2009 (which debuted in the top ten on the iTunes reggae charts).
Since then the band has worked hard touring the U.S. They’ve played at over fifty college campuses sharing the stage with a diverse range of artists such as Augustana, The New Boyz, Collective Soul, Pepper and Tyrone Wells. During the past two years they have been working on Tidal Wave. It was recorded by Kelsey Smith at Downbeat Sounds in Vancouver, WA, and mixed by Christopher and Taylor Stevens in Nashville, TN.
