Minus a select number of solo performances over the year in 2011, NOFX has taken a break from touring given their 25 year-long career. But the Punk legends NOFX are ringing in the New Year with Westcoaster 2012, a tour that extends to the latter days of January and features a number of Fat Wreck Chords bands.
Five of the sixteen scheduled shows will happen in the greater Los Angeles, while others encircle some of the bigger cities in California such as Anaheim and West Hollywood.
The Westcoaster Tour kicked off on New Year’s Eve at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. Punk-Bluegrass permeates Old Man Markley, is suitably performing alongside of Fat Mike and the NOFX crew at every Westcoaster Event. But the list of talent extends much further than that. The lineup consists of many punk prodigies you may find dictating the atmosphere of the earlier Warped Tour days.
Cali-natives Lagwagon, No Use for A Name, and Pulley are a few of the bigger names to take the stage, all who found major success in the 90’s. Pour Habit toured with The Expendables, Strung Out, and Death By Stereo after being founded only five years ago. Fat Mike made it out to a few Pour Habit shows, and discovered that they can match the energy of any Fat Wreck Chords band with ease, ending with an inked record deal in 2009.
