Palm Beach Reggae Music & Arts Festival Announces Inaugural 2026 Event in Delray Beach

The Palm Beach Reggae Music & Arts Festival will make its debut in Downtown Delray Beach, Florida this March, bringing together live music, film screenings, and visual arts for a vibrant, multi-day celebration of reggae’s global cultural impact.

The inaugural edition runs March 20–22, 2026 at Old School Square, transforming one of South Florida’s most iconic cultural hubs into a space for music, history, and community connection.

Originating on the Caribbean island of Jamaica, reggae music has evolved into a worldwide cultural force, influencing countless genres and communities across the United States, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. The Palm Beach Reggae Music & Arts Festival honors that legacy through a multimedia experience designed to both entertain and educate.

The festival features live performances, curated film screenings, and visual art installations that trace reggae’s evolution and enduring influence. Designed for residents and visitors alike, the event highlights reggae not just as music, but as a cultural movement rooted in resilience, identity, and social awareness.

The festival opens on Friday, March 20 at the Old School Square Vintage Gymnasium with a screening of the acclaimed documentary Inna De Yard: The Soul of Jamaica, written and directed by Peter Webber. The film offers an intimate look at Jamaica’s reggae elders and the roots of the genre.

On Saturday, March 21, the Old School Square Amphitheater will host a live concert featuring reggae artists from South Florida, Jamaica, and Latin America. Performers include Inner Circle (The Bad Boys of Reggae), The Resolvers, Xperimento, and Yvad & Legal Roots.

The festival concludes on Sunday, March 22 with a screening of the award-winning documentary Play It Loud! How Toronto Got Soul, also held at the Old School Square Vintage Gymnasium.

The Palm Beach Reggae Music & Arts Festival is directed and coordinated by Lloyd Stanbury, a Jamaican entertainment attorney, music business consultant, and Palm Beach County resident. Stanbury is the author of Reggae Roadblocks: A Music Business Development Perspective and co-founder of IRIE FM, the world’s first all-reggae radio station, based in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

He is also a recipient of the Order of Distinction (O.D.) from the Government of Jamaica for his contributions to the music and entertainment industry.

The festival is produced in partnership with the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum and supported by the Bright Ideas Sponsorship Program of the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County, funded by the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council.

Additional collaboration includes Old School Square and Bigg Zound Productions, owned and operated by Ian Lewis of Inner Circle, helping guide the design, management, and delivery of the festival.

Part proceeds from the Palm Beach Reggae Music & Arts Festival will be donated to a South Florida–based nonprofit supporting hurricane rebuilding efforts in Jamaica, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to cultural preservation and community impact.
