Pennywise Announce West Coast Run With Circle Jerks, H2O & DFL

If you needed a reminder that Southern California punk still moves as a unit, Pennywise just dropped a seven-date West Coast sprint for May 2026 with Circle Jerks, H2O, and DFL joining the bill.

The run kicks off May 8 in San Francisco at The Fillmore, hits Berkeley and Sacramento, cuts over to Phoenix, then swings back through Southern California for San Diego before closing with a two-night stand at House of Blues Anaheim on May 16 and 17.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 27 at 10 a.m. local time. An artist presale begins Monday, February 23 at noon Pacific using the code BROHYMN, according to multiple outlets reporting the announcement.

Formed in Hermosa Beach in 1988, Pennywise remain one of Southern California’s defining melodic hardcore exports, anchored by Jim Lindberg’s unmistakable vocals and Fletcher Dragge’s downstroke drive. Their live sets have long revolved around communal anthems like “Bro Hymn,” a song that has become synonymous with West Coast punk solidarity.

They are joined by fellow L.A. hardcore pioneers Circle Jerks, whose early 1980s catalog helped define the speed and bite of American hardcore. New York’s H2O bring their melodic singalong edge forged in the mid 1990s hardcore revival, while DFL, the long-running skate punk outfit with deep ties to the Southern California scene, round out the bill.

On paper, it reads like a generational summit. In practice, it is likely to feel more like a family reunion with stage dives.

For West Coast fans, this is less a nostalgia tour than a reminder that the infrastructure built in small clubs and VFW halls decades ago still fills rooms built for movement.
