Rebelution announces Falling into Place Summer tour! This lineup is stacked with groups all covering different reggae styles. From Hawaii acting as direct support is The Green + J Boog. Covering your roots dub reggae is Stick Figure and Through the Roots bringing that reggae-rock. Also in the mix is DJ Mackle!
Each of these artist’s have been persevering, either on tour featuring their latest albums, or working in the studio on new ones to debut soon! Stick Figure, who is currently on the second leg of their Set in Stone tour, released their last album in November 2015. This has been a wildly successful tour for the band as they have sold out almost every show!
Also, out with new music in 2015 was Through the Roots who brought us their Stripped and Exposed EP. We were also gifted with a single titled, “Bear With Me,” featuring Eric Rachmany of Rebelution. At the moment these guys are finishing up Anuhea’s Love Child tour with Thrive. 
The Green surprised all of us back in early January of this year when they dropped their new single “Roots.” This track is the first song they have finished off their 4th studio album that is currently in the works. The band was so excited when they finished the song that they decided to deliver “Roots” to their fans the day after it was done!
Rebelution just wrapped up their Winter Greens tour and has now announced their Falling into Place summer tour. Rebelution has been energetically creating not one, but TWO new albums. “Yes we are currently working on both a live album and a new album. Both are essentially finished,” lead singer Eric confirms. So when can we expect to have these new tracks streaming through our headphones? Eric continues, “We are not quite sure when they will come out, but early summer is a realistic possibility.”
If you had the chance to see a show during the Winter Greens tour, Rebelution premiered one new track titled “Inhale Exhale.” Unsure of when the new albums will drop, Eric assures us of what we could here live: “we definitely plan on playing some additional new material for the summer tour. We always like to play the old stuff as well.”
The Falling Into Place Summer tour will include 25 total dates from their Red Rocks show in Morrison, CO on June 13th to August 20th at Big Sky Brewery in Missoula, MT. The summer tour will reach 20 different states including 4 dates in Florida and 3 in California.
As I finished my conversation with Eric he shared with me something that is very important to him that he would like projected to fans:
“I just want to remind people to check out your local musicians and to support them as much as you all have supported Rebelution. Some of the most talented people never get any recognition. My first show was at a coffee shop for 2 people and if it wasn’t for their support at the time, I never would be in the position I am in today. Music can change lives for the better and the connection between the musician and the listener is what life is all about! SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC!”
