Serial Killers (Xzibit, B-Real, Demrick) Drop Hard-Hitting New Single “This Thing of Ours”

West Coast rap has always thrived on chemistry—voices that already sound like they’ve been trading bars in the same smoke-filled room for years. Serial Killers, the long-running supergroup made up of Xzibit, B-Real, and Demrick, lean into that lived-in feel on their new single “This Thing of Ours,” a blunt-force cut that lands like a warning shot.

The track is the third single from the trio’s upcoming album, set to release via Ineffable records. Produced entirely by Scoop DeVille, “This Thing of Ours” is built for headlights and late nights: tough cadence, tight pocket, no wasted motion. Xzibit comes through with the cold-eyed authority of a veteran who’s seen every era, B-Real slices the beat with that unmistakable bite, and Demrick stays agile in the cracks—an anchor and a spark at the same time.

The release arrives with all three members in motion. Xzibit recently returned with Kingmaker, his first solo album in 13 years. B-Real continues to keep Cypress Hill’s legacy loud and active—most recently with the group’s Black Sunday live moment at the Royal Albert Hall alongside the London Symphony Orchestra. Demrick, meanwhile, has been steadily building his own lane, fresh off his latest solo set Ooowee. Put it together and “This Thing of Ours” doesn’t feel like a one-off flex—it sounds like a group stepping back into the frame with something to prove.
