Malibu sensation Shwayze — known for such hit songs as “Buzzin” and “Corona & Lime” — has teamed up with one of reggae rock’s fastest rising stars, DENM, for a new single called “Wasted Sunset.”
With sun-soaked swagger and an alluring hip-hop beat, “Wasted Sunset” is an instantly engrossing jam. Lyrically, the track offers up some romance, detailing the feeling of finding that special person you want to waste your time with.
“Wastin’ all my time with you / There’s nothing I’d rather do / Wasted sunset point of view / Wastin’ all my time with you”
This is the third single off of Shwayze’s upcoming 2025 album, following previous releases “Floatin'” and “Bartender.” The upcoming album is the follow up to 2024’s Shwaycation, which included guest appearances from Wiz Khalifa, Bryce Vine, Kes, Common Kings, Ripe and more.
Shwayze has enjoyed a busy 2025, recently wrapping up two legs of a headlining U.S. tour. He’ll hit the road for a co-headlining trek alongside Tropidelic in August, with occasional headline dates sprinkled throughout. The singer is also scheduled to perform at Reggae Rise Up Vegas on October 4.
Beyond music, Shwayze has spent the last few years diving headfirst into his acting career. The multi-talented musician landed recurring roles on the popular TV series Abbot Elementary and Lincoln Lawyer.
