Slightly Stoopid Drop Uplifting New Song ‘Shine for You’ Featuring G. Love

Slightly Stoopid have released an uplifting new single called “Shine for You,” featuring their friend and frequent collaborator G. Love.

Warmth emanates from the tune as Stoopids Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald intertwine their vocals with G. Love. Using colorful imagery and clever wordplay, the song’s lyrics express an overarching theme of heartfelt devotion.

“‘Shine For You,’ is about the things we do for the ones we love,” Slightly Stopid shared via social media. “We had a lot of fun making this song and are excited for the world to hear it.”

In a separate message, the band shared their appreciation for the song’s guest star.

“A giant thanks out to our brother G. Love for the honor of collaborating on this track together,” Slightly Stoopid remarked. “G. Love has been family and like an unofficial member of Slightly Stoopid for many years, and it’s always a blessing to make music with him on and off the stage.”

The release of “Shine for You” has further ramped up anticipation for Slightly Stoopid’s next studio album, due out in 2026. Earlier this year the band dropped another major collaboration, teaming with Cypress Hill’s B-Real and Chali 2na of Jurassic 5 on “The Upside Down.”
