Slightly Stoopid’s 2018 Summer Tour with Stick Figure & Pepper

Slightly Stoopid’s 2018 Summer Tour with Stick Figure & Pepper

Following the details of our 2018 Most Anticipated Albums feature, the School’s Out For Summer tour just became that much more anticipated considering that all three bands will likely be promoting brand new albums, or at the very least, performing brand-new songs. Furthermore, it gives fans a chance to see some on-stage collaborations considering that Slightly Stoopid has connected on songs with Stick Figure and most recently with Pepper.

Slightly Stoopid’s Miles Doughty met with Pepper’s Kaleo Wassman for a cover of Sugar Minott’s “Good Thing Going” that Pepper released via Law Records — This will be the first time that Stoopid has toured with Pepper in 10 years.

Stick Figure received their first recognition years ago for winning a remix contest of Stoopid’s song “2AM.” In 2015, Stick Figure toured with Slightly Stoopid where they released a song featuring Stoopid’s Kyle McDonald on “Choice Is Yours.”

This particular tour line-up is unique to reggae-rock in Pepper, reggae-dub in Stick Figure and likely some jam-band style of reggae, hip hop and hopefully some punk out of Slightly Stoopid with surprise guest appearances in certain markets. While more dates are expected to be added, School’s Out For Summer tour officially kicks off on June 6th in Bonner, MT. It will conclude on August 5th in Boise, ID, but not before hitting, as of this writing, 27 dates across 21 states.

You can find the dates and links below — Stay tuned to ThePier.org for new information regarding each new record from each group. Let us know where you plan to catch the tour.
