Psychedelic hip-hop duo Space Kamp have just dropped the official video for their new single “Stop! Relax!,” the first from their recently released album Concrete Beach. Produced by Big City, the track channels the golden era of hip-hop with a beat that feels timeless, paired with Space Kamp’s sharp lyricism and a message to slow down and live in the moment.
Directed by Jack Nine Films and shot entirely on a DJI Osmo Pocket 3, the video leans into nostalgia with stripped-back textures and classic imagery. It calls to mind the raw aesthetic of an old Tribe Called Quest video, grounding Space Kamp’s sound in the roots of hip-hop while keeping their energy fresh and present.
Released earlier this August, Concrete Beach is a project that shows why Space Kamp are hard to pin down. The duo effortlessly balance reggae-influenced cuts with hip-hop-driven tracks, each delivered with authenticity and heart.
