Stephen Marley and Buju Banton Announce Roots & Rhymes U.S. Summer Tour

Two of reggae’s most iconic voices are joining forces for a major run across the U.S. this summer. Stephen Marley and Buju Banton have officially announced the Roots & Rhymes Tour 2026, marking the first time the pair will co-headline a full-scale tour together.

Kicking off June 17 in Redmond, Washington, the tour will span over a month, hitting major venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre and festival stops like Summerfest before wrapping July 25 in Atlanta.

The run will also feature select appearances from Gramps Morgan of Morgan Heritage, with DJ sets from Splackavelli throughout the tour.

While both artists have shared a long musical history, this marks their first time bringing that chemistry to a full co-headlining tour. The Roots & Rhymes concept centers on celebrating reggae and dancehall at the highest level, blending classic material with newer releases and live collaborations.

Stephen Marley, a nine-time Grammy winner and son of Bob Marley, continues to build on a career that spans solo work, production, and collaborations across genres. Buju Banton, one of the most influential figures in dancehall and reggae for over three decades, brings a catalog that has helped define the global reach of the genre.

Beyond the music, the tour also carries a philanthropic component. A portion of every ticket sold will go toward charitable efforts in Jamaica, supporting both the Ghetto Youths Foundation and the Buju Banton Foundation.

Fans can expect a high-energy live experience built around legacy, culture, and connection. With two generational voices sharing the stage, Roots & Rhymes is positioned as one of the standout reggae tours of the summer.
