An eclectic lineup of artists, including Lupe Fiasco, Surfer Girl, Artikal Sound System and Plain White T’s will perform at this year’s Super Girl Surf Festival.
Billed as the world’s largest women’s surf, music, and lifestyle festival, the annual event will be held in Oceanside, CA September 19-21. This year’s edition will feature more than 600 female athletes participating across 10 sports. While surfing (understandably) grabs the headline, skating and beach sports are also part of the event.
Popular OC/LA clothing brand SMKFLWR is partnering with the fest for its concert series, and the 2025 lineup boasts 17 awesome acts. Grammy winning rapper Lupe Fiasco leads the way, along with “Hey There Delilah” hitmakers Plain White T’s. Reggae rock fans should be hyped for Surfer Girl — the solo project of former Aer frontman Carter Reeves — and rising stars Artikal Soundsystem.
The three-day, family friendly event is totally free and also features an esports tournament, panel discussions, celebrity speakers, a female art exhibit, wellness classes, a beer garden and food court, and a mentorship program for young surfers with top female pros.
Now in its 19th year, the Super Girl Pro Series was developed as a celebration of female strength and empowerment. The Super Girl Pro’s non-profit partners include Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC), a youth-focused breast cancer education and prevention foundation, and Surfrider Foundation, which focuses the mitigation of plastics in our oceans, beaches and waterways.
