Cleveland genre-hoppers Tropidelic link up with South Carolina reggae-rock stalwarts The Movement on “Signals,” a warm, melodic single that leans into feel and momentum rather than flash. It’s a natural collaboration—two bands who’ve spent the last decade refining sounds that sit comfortably between reggae-rock, alternative, and indie pop without ever feeling boxed in.
“Signals” marks the third single from Tropidelic’s upcoming album, due out in 2026 via Ineffable Records. Where earlier releases hinted at scale, this track settles into connection—easy grooves, reflective lyrics, and a chorus built for long drives and late-night playlists. It follows the breakout success of the album’s lead single “Out There,” which has already surpassed three million streams across DSPs, signaling a band fully in stride.
The timing couldn’t be sharper. Tropidelic spent 2025 on the road relentlessly, wrapping co-headlining tours with Ballyhoo! and Shwayze, a run of dates with Dirty Heads—including a standout appearance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre—and a 23-date headlining stretch of their own. With a joint tour alongside The Movement kicking off in January immediately following the release, “Signals” feels less like a standalone drop and more like a handshake before the next chapter unfolds.
