Twin Fin release new single, “California Sober”

Hawaii-by-way-of-California group Twin Fin continue carving out their sun-kissed lane with “California Sober,” a breezy blend of alternative, pop, and country that feels tailor-made for long drives and late-afternoon light. The track marks the fourth single from their upcoming 2026 project on Ineffable Records, further refining the group’s knack for grounded storytelling and melodic warmth.

“California Sober” falls somewhere between a beach-town confession and a roadside diary entry, pairing acoustic textures with glossy pop hooks. Twin Fin lean into their coastal roots without relying on clichés, landing instead on something honest—bright, but with a hint of dust and heartbreak around the edges.

The single arrives on the heels of a strong breakout year for the Twin Fin universe. They recently appeared on Shwayze’s track “Floatin,” a collab that introduced them to a wider alt-pop audience, and they wrapped a full U.S. run with him in November, earning word-of-mouth buzz for their harmony-driven live sets.
