Inner Circle has teamed up with reggae artist I-Octane & upcoming recording artist Bizerk of Alligator City on an island vibe remake of Wiz Khalifa & Snoop Dogg’s recording of “Young Wild & Free” and we have the FREE Stream…


Most people know Inner Circle from their hit singles “Sweat” and “Bad Boys”, the infamous theme song for the TV show COPS, that steered Inner Circle as one of reggae’s most successful groups. Jamaica’s newest rising star I-Octane has been making a name for himself having worked with some of reggae’s legends including Beres Hammond, Buju Banton, Assassin and now Inner Circle. I-Octane’s musical beginnings began as a DJ in Jamaica and progressed to making and performing for the masses. “My work is different, I stand for positiveness and righteousness,” stated I-Octane.

Inner Circle’s ear for up-and-coming talen opens the door for emcee Bizerk to shine on “Young, Wild & Free”. Bizerk, of the hip hop group Alligator City, expressed “I feel as though this track represents real reggae culture mixed with the young generation of today. It’s like Wiz and Snoop, the young G and the old G, Inner Circle is Snoop and I’m Wiz in a sense. I’m young, wild and free!”

The Concept of remaking “Young Wild & Free” came from Inner Circle’s band members Ian & Roger Lewis’ ear to the ever evolving music scene. “We are free to be wild as long as we arent hurting anyone, and being young is a mindset no matter how old you are. This song represents all the generatesion,” state Ian Lewis, Inner Circle.
