Reel Big Fish Announce ‘The Beer Run’ Summer Tour

It’s no secret that Reel Big Fish have cemented themselves as live favorites and household names over the years with their eclectic live show chock full of humor, horns and fun. Fresh off the boat from the 311 Cruise, the ska-punk alternative kingpins have recently announced another run of tour dates alongside The Expendables, Tunnel Vision and The Queers for their “The Beer Run Tour” featuring much more than excellent music and good times!

Few bands within the ska scene have seen as much widespread success and longevity than Reel Big Fish. Still led by original singer and song-writer Aaron Barrett, RBF continues to progress themselves by adding new components to their live show, as well as releasing new music. From finding mainstream success with the release of “Sell Out” back in 1997, to their contributions towards the major motion picture film & comedic-favorite BASEketball in 1998, to their wide array of studio albums put together since their musical inception in 1991, the Huntington Beach, CA originated ensemble show no signs of slowing down.

To help kick off the summer in true Reel Big Fish fashion, the band has recently announced “The Beer Run Tour” -– which will spread across 32 dates with support from The Expendables, The Queers and Tunnel Vision. The tour will begin June 9th at Club LA in Destin, FL before wrapping up on July 19th at the Rotary Amphitheater in Fresno, CA. “The Beer Run” will offer much more than excellent live performances however, as the tour will also be promoting unique craft beer selections and experiences with support from local markets and breweries on select dates as well.

The Expendables are also celebrating the release of their latest EP Moment, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts on May 5 to include collaborations with Eric Rachmany of Rebelution, Tech N9ne, HIRIE, and Micah Pueschel of Iration. The Santa Cruz four-piece outfit have maintained a steady touring schedule thus far in 2017, having just concluded their Blackout 2017 Tour with RDGLDGRN and Tribal Theory. No doubt they will be looking forward to dropping their new tunes to live audiences!

Joining Reel Big Fish and The Expendables will be the punk-rock veteran trio The Queers – having entered the music scene in 1981 with 11 studio albums under their belt and plenty of touring history to their name. Original guitarist and lead vocalist Joe King remains at the helm while the band has seen the lineup shift periodically over the years.

Also on the bill will be the SoCal based Tunnel Vision, bringing their surf-reggae ska tunes to fit in perfectly with the lineup. With their self-titled release in 2015, Tunnel Vision has been climbing to new heights -– literally! Tunnel Vision set two world records alongside Slightly Stoopid’s Daniel “Dela” Delacruz back in February 2017 after climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. The band set the record for highest concert on record, and Dela set the record for highest saxophone solo -– this actually happened! Check out more details at the band’s website below.

With an epic lineup and days full of ska, good times and plenty of beer for all –- this one’s a no-brainer. Check out the full list of dates below for “The Beer Run Tour” and grab your tickets before they disappear!
