Artikal Sound System are keeping the momentum going with a fresh take on one of their standout tracks. The band has announced a new remix of “Right Now,” set to drop this Friday, March 27, featuring vocals from Miles Doughty of Slightly Stoopid.
Originally appearing on their 2025 album Are You Smiling Yet?, “Right Now” gets a full reimagining here, with Doughty’s unmistakable voice adding a new layer of warmth and groove to the track. The collaboration feels like a natural fit, bridging Artikal Sound System’s melodic, modern reggae style with the laid-back, roots-driven sound that Slightly Stoopid have helped define for decades.
The remix also marks the beginning of a larger rollout, with more alternate versions of Are You Smiling Yet? tracks expected to follow via Silverback Music.
