As the California Roots Music & Arts Festival gears up for its 15th anniversary, organizers are setting the stage for something far bigger than a typical closing set. The festival has officially announced the Cali Roots All-Stars, a collaborative finale performance set to take over Sunday night from May 22 to 24, 2026 at the Monterey County Fairgrounds.
Designed as a once in a lifetime moment, the All-Stars set will bring together a rotating lineup of artists from across the festival’s history. Rather than a traditional performance, the set is expected to lean into spontaneity, collaboration, and the shared spirit that has defined Cali Roots since day one. Participating artists have yet to be revealed, with announcements rolling out in the weeks leading up to the festival.
“This is not just another set. It is a reflection of everything Cali Roots has been built on,” said co-founder and producer Dan Sheehan. “Over the years, this stage has created unforgettable moments. Artists crossing paths. Songs taking on new life. Fans and artists alike becoming part of something bigger than themselves. Bringing everyone back together like this feels right.”
Since its launch, California Roots has grown into one of the most respected independent festivals in the country, blending reggae, hip hop, rock, and soul into a lineup that reflects both legacy acts and rising voices.
