After nearly two decades of shaping the American reggae-rock landscape, Iration are circling back to their foundation with their latest full-length release, Where It All Began, out now across all platforms.
The 14-track project arrives as the band’s 11th studio album and is available on digital, CD, and 180-gram double vinyl. Featuring guest appearances from Maoli, Kolohe Kai, Little Stranger, and Kabaka Pyramid, the record blends island-rooted influences with the band’s signature fusion of reggae, rock, and pop.
“For us, this record is about honoring the music that inspired us to start the band in the first place,” frontman Micah Pueschel shared. “It’s a nod to the records we grew up listening to, the islands that shaped us, and the feeling that made us want to make music together.”
Where It All Began leans into a more stripped-back and intentional sound. Rather than overproduced layers, the album emphasizes groove, space, and dynamics—letting each instrument breathe while keeping the songwriting front and center. The result is a balanced listen that moves between reflective, laid-back moments and brighter, rhythm-driven tracks.
Island influences remain core to the band’s DNA, but this time around, the production feels more refined and deliberate. It’s a record that doesn’t try to reinvent Iration’s sound—instead, it sharpens it, reconnecting with the instincts and chemistry that first brought the group together.
To celebrate the release, Iration hit the road for their Where It All Began Summer Tour, a 34-date U.S. run kicking off May 6. Known for translating their studio work into immersive live shows, the band is bringing a refreshed setlist and updated production to a mix of indoor theaters, scenic outdoor venues, and intimate spaces across the country.
Highlights include stops in New York City, Chicago, Boise, Denver, San Diego, and a closing night in Avila Beach, California. Many dates feature support from Tribal Seeds, adding another layer of reggae firepower to the tour.
“2026 is officially the year that we want to give back to our fans in the best way possible,” Pueschel said. “We’re bringing new music, a completely new set, and a new experience to take it back to where it all began.”
With over a billion streams, multiple Billboard chart-toppers, and a reputation as one of the most successful independent reggae-rock bands in the U.S., Iration continue to evolve without losing sight of their roots.
Alongside the album and tour, the band has also launched their IRATORS VIP Fan Club, offering fans early ticket access, exclusive content, and deeper engagement with the group.
For longtime listeners and new fans alike, Where It All Began feels exactly like what its title promises—a full-circle moment from a band still pushing forward while staying grounded in what made them connect in the first place.
Before the full tour ramps up, fans can catch Iration live this weekend at Sublime Fest Fort Worth in Fort Worth. The appearance adds to a busy kickoff stretch for the band and places them alongside a stacked lineup tied to the extended Sublime universe, making it an early chance to hear Where It All Began material live ahead of the summer run.
