SENSI TRAILS HEADLINES FIRST ANNUAL GROOVY PALOOZA FESTIVAL – PRESENTED BY SINISTER TRAILS IN NORTH COUNTY SAN DIEGO

Before a sold-out crowd at Waynes World Pumpkin Patch in Encinitas CA, SENSI TRAILS rocked the evening which started earlier in the day with other San Diego reggae-rock acts including DOAH’S DAY DREAM, and BAND OF GRINGOS. The one day music festival also included EDM sounds provided by DJ HUNT HUX, CHRIS COTE, and KAIPORA.  Event vendors and sponsors on scene included D’s BBQ, One Drop Botanics, Grizzly Peak, On Point Promotions, and We Should Smoke.  Additionally, live artist KRYSTAL DYER was also on hand to paint.

The show was held in combination with SINISTER TRAILS, a Halloween themed haunted maze on the same grounds.  Sinister Trails began on September 30th and continues each Thursday through Sunday, ending October 31st.

“I could not be more stoked about the showing for this first annual event we plan on doing in years to come in October during Sinister Trails.  The event was at capacity with everyone getting food and drink without waiting in long lines.  The amount of thanks I received after our set was mind boggling. It was also very nice to have San Diego based vendors and sponsors participate and also San Diego based artists playing. A gigantic thanks to all that helped make this event possible.” – Kyle Rising, front man of Sensi Trails and producer of Sinister Trails.

Sensi Trails opened their set with Season of The Witch, a cover by 70’s rocker Donavan. They then continued with a healthy mix of new material. Already released jams were played included “My Universe”, “Cry When You Laugh”, “She Love”, “Meditation Mama”, and “Part of Me”. You can watch the full set below.

Sensi Trails has a couple of Southern California shows lined up prior to hitting the road on the “Persevere” tour with DALE AND THE ZDUBS, and THE HAPPYS. This show run includes a show with SYNRGY, JUNE BUG and T-CHRONIC at THC in Ocean Beach on November 8th. This is a homecoming show for the group’s bassist Kaya Hall – who is returning home to San Diego after being in Colorado for physical therapy – the result of a car accident in June of this year.  Then, the band will play the House of Blues at Downtown Disney in Anaheim on Friday, November 11th with LONG BEACH DUB ALLSTARS.
