Space Kamp Find Soulful Clarity on New Single “Love Is”

Space Kamp have always moved like outsiders with insider instincts. Split between the Tampa Bay area and Allentown, Pennsylvania, the duo have spent years building a loyal grassroots following through sharp releases, festival stages, and a sound that refuses easy labels. On their new single, “Love Is,” they sharpen that identity even further.

Produced by Philadelphia-area veteran Jeff “Stress” Davis whose expansive résumé includes work with Gym Class Heroes, Ghostface Killah, Tyga, Lil Wayne, and many others  the track pairs classic feel with fresh execution. Stress leans into a rich, soulful palette here: warm sample textures, crisp drums, and a nostalgic hip-hop bounce that feels rooted in the ‘90s while still landing squarely in the present. The single was mixed and mastered by rising artist and engineer Dylan Peters who has also been brought into the fold to assist with production and sonics on Space Kamp’s upcoming album.

For Space Kamp, that backdrop is the perfect canvas.

The duo have long stood apart by blending influences that many acts keep separated. Their catalog can pivot from reggae-minded uplift to hip-hop grit to melodic hooks without sounding forced or calculated. “Love Is” continues that tradition naturally, arriving less like a genre experiment and more like a statement of purpose from artists who know exactly who they are.

What makes the single resonate most is its clarity. In a time when cynicism often passes for depth, “Love Is” leans into sincerity without apology. The hook centers on timeless truths love can heal, love can hurt, love can test you but ultimately reminds listeners that love still wins.

That emotional directness has always been part of Space Kamp’s appeal. Whether on record or onstage, there’s an authenticity to what they do that connects beyond trends.

With “Love Is,” Space Kamp deliver a song that feels familiar in the best way: soulful, uplifting, and built to last. It’s another strong step from a duo that has quietly carved their own lane and shows no interest in slowing down now.
