Philly born, Tampa Bay based, genre bending duo Space Kamp joins forces with Bay Area emcee J. Lately for their new single “Pardon Me,” arriving Friday, August 28, 2026.
A laid-back alternative hip-hop track built around soulful grooves and conscious lyricism, “Pardon Me” is a celebration of independence, individuality, and staying true to your own path. The collaboration brings together Space Kamp’s genre melting approach with J. Lately’s thoughtful lyricism.
Drawing from the creative spirit of the Native Tongues movement, the track embraces the idea that great music doesn’t have to follow a formula.
Space Kamp’s Adoo dedicates part of his verse to pay homage to the influence of De La Soul, reflecting on the group’s role in showing a generation of artists that being different is something to embrace.

The single follows Space Kamp’s 2025 album Concrete Beach and continues the duo’s evolution of alternative hip-hop, blending classic influences with their own distinctive sound.
