Sublime are taking over Skratch N Sniff this weekend with a special mix airing across both the Alternative Mix and Rock Mix in celebration of the band’s new album, Until the Sun Explodes.
For the weekend of June 13, 2026, Skratch N Sniff’s Alternative Mix #702 and Rock Mix #1218 will both feature the same full Sublime-centered takeover, bringing together new album cuts, classic favorites, remixes, mashups, and songs from artists connected to the wider Southern California reggae, punk, hip-hop, and alternative world.
The six-segment special opens with “Until The Sun Explodes,” the title track from Sublime’s new album, before moving into the Pharcyde and Snoop Dogg remix of “Doin’ Time,” “F.T.R.,” Jakobs Castle’s take on “Garden Grove,” and the new Sublime track “Come Correct.”
From there, the mix digs into both familiar Sublime staples and deeper modern cuts. Fans will hear “Badfish,” “Pawn Shop,” “Wrong Way,” “Caress Me Down,” “Froggy,” “Figueroa,” “Backwards,” “Wizard,” “Gang Stalker,” “Favorite Song,” “What For,” “Can’t Miss You,” and “Ensenada,” which has been one of the key songs leading the band’s newest chapter.
The takeover also pulls in a wide circle of artists who fit naturally into the Sublime universe. The tracklist includes Stick Figure and Sublime’s “Feel Like That,” Dirty Heads’ “Rescue Me,” Codefendants’ “Lonely Life,” Strange Case’s “HBK,” Yelawolf’s “Till It’s Gone,” G. Love’s “April 29th 1992,” Jakobs Castle’s “Time Traveler,” Damian Marley’s “Welcome To Jamrock” Skrillex Remix, and Suicidal Tendencies’ “Institutionalized.”
The Pier also gets a spotlight during the final segment with Slum Beach Posse’s “Sun Come,” featuring DENM, Jesse James Pariah, and Landon McNamara, marked as this week’s ThePier.org feature.
For longtime Sublime fans, the special plays like a bridge between eras. It celebrates the classics that helped define the Long Beach sound while making room for the band’s new material and the artists carrying that influence forward today.
