The Elovaters Share “Leave The Light On” Ahead of Shark Belly Motel

Boston reggae-rock outfit The Elovaters have released a new single, “Leave The Light On,” the latest preview of their upcoming album Shark Belly Motel, due out in May 2026.

The track marks the sixth single unveiled from the new record and continues the band’s steady build into their next chapter following 2023’s Endless Summer. That album featured collaborations with Little Stranger and Surfer Girl and helped expand the band’s national footprint within the alternative and reggae-rock circuits.

“Leave The Light On” leans into the melodic lift and polished production that have become central to the band’s identity. The Elovaters have increasingly blurred alt-pop sheen with reggae-rock grooves, and the new single reflects that balance: clean guitar lines, a steady mid-tempo pulse, and a hook structured for live singalongs.

The release arrives during an active touring stretch. After joining Rebelution on tour last year, the band completed a 19-date headlining run in November. They are currently on a 27-date headlining tour that includes two nights at MGM Music Hall at Fenway, underscoring their growing draw in their hometown market.

In May, The Elovaters are scheduled to headline Red Rocks Amphitheatre for the first time a milestone moment for a band that has steadily climbed from regional festival stages to larger national venues.

With Shark Belly Motel set for release in May and multiple singles already in circulation, “Leave The Light On” functions less as a standalone drop and more as a final tone-setter before the full album arrives.
