Jamaican reggae artist Protoje has officially announced his upcoming seventh studio album, The Art of Acceptance, set for release April 17, 2026 via In.Digg.Nation Collective and Ineffable Records.
Alongside the album announcement, Protoje also revealed The Art of Acceptance Tour, a large international run spanning Jamaica, Europe, the United Kingdom, and North America in support of the project.
The Art of Acceptance follows Protoje’s Grammy-nominated 2022 album Third Time’s The Charm and continues the artist’s mission of pushing reggae forward while staying rooted in Jamaican culture and spirituality.
The album is produced by longtime collaborator Winta James, marking their first full collaborative album since A Matter of Time.

Protoje described the album as a deeply personal creative statement that reflects years of introspection.
“The Art of Acceptance isn’t just about peace. It’s about the raw, sometimes painful work of facing yourself fully and embracing the parts you might want to hide,” Protoje explained.
“I’ve worked on this album for the last three years with great focus alongside Winta James.”
Producer Winta James added that the record blends multiple eras of reggae influence.
“It’s an amalgamation of the sounds that inspired us over the years, from updated acoustic traditional reggae to the digital reggae revolution of the late 80s and early 90s, with a sprinkling of hip hop inspired grooves.”

Global Tour Begins in Jamaica
Protoje will launch the Art of Acceptance Tour beginning in Jamaica with his two-day Lost In Time Festival in Kingston, before heading across Europe, the United Kingdom, and North America.

The announcement reinforces Protoje’s status as one of the leading voices in modern reggae, continuing the momentum of the global reggae revival he helped ignite alongside artists such as Chronixx and Kabaka Pyramid.
With a new album arriving in April and a worldwide tour ahead, 2026 is shaping up to be a major year for the Kingston-born artist.
