Trinidad and Tobago reggae powerhouse Queen Omega returns with her new single “Care for Me,” out now via Ineffable Records.
Produced by Tamal, “Care for Me” puts Queen Omega’s commanding delivery and lyricism at the center of a song reflecting on the relationships that remain important while an artist’s life increasingly stretches across countries, stages and continents. The track looks at her reach through the people around her, from family and friends to the international audience that has followed her career.
The new single arrives during another particularly active chapter for Queen Omega. A longtime force in roots and conscious reggae, the San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago-born artist has seen her international profile expand considerably in recent years, with “No Love Dubplate,” her collaboration with Little Lion Sound, introducing her voice to an even broader global audience.
That momentum has carried directly into 2026. Queen Omega spent much of the summer touring Europe with The Royal Souls, with dates across France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, the UK, Austria, Portugal and beyond. Her festival itinerary included major appearances at Reggae Geel in Belgium on July 31 and Rototom Sunsplash in Benicàssim, Spain on August 18, among a lengthy run of European performances.
“Care for Me” follows several other Queen Omega releases and collaborations from this year. September brought “Spiritual War” as well as “Majestic,” her collaboration with Khalia, while earlier 2026 releases connected her with artists including Gentleman, Future Irie, Samora and Yoskel.
The steady stream of music underscores the longevity behind Queen Omega’s current run. Her career stretches back decades, and albums including Away From Babylon and Servant of Jah Army established a catalog grounded in roots reggae, spirituality and socially conscious writing long before the viral success of “No Love Dubplate” introduced her to another generation of listeners.
“Care for Me” brings Queen Omega’s increasingly international story back to the personal relationships surrounding it, pairing Tamal’s production with an artist whose reach continues to grow without separating her music from the people and principles at its foundation.
