West Coast hip-hop supergroup Serial Killers, a super-group made up of Xzibit, B-Real, and Demrick, have released a new single titled “By Any Means,” featuring producer Scoop DeVille.
The track is the third single from the trio’s upcoming album This Thing of Ours, which is set for release April 10 via Ineffable Records. The project marks the fifth official release from the group and is produced entirely by Scoop DeVille.
Known for blending gritty West Coast lyricism with modern production, Serial Killers first emerged as a collaborative outlet for the three longtime hip-hop veterans. Their music typically mixes classic boom-bap sensibilities with contemporary beats, leaning heavily into the chemistry between the three emcees.
Scoop DeVille’s involvement is a major component of the upcoming album’s sound. The producer has worked across multiple eras of hip-hop, contributing to records from artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, and Jeezy.
The new single arrives at a busy moment for all three members of the group.
Xzibit recently released his first solo album in more than a decade, which featured guest appearances from artists including Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes, Ice Cube, Redman, B-Real, and Ty Dolla $ign.
Meanwhile, B-Real has been touring with Cypress Hill, including performances during their Dank Daze of Summer Tour. The group also recently performed their landmark 1993 album Black Sunday live at Royal Albert Hall with the London Symphony Orchestra.
Demrick has also remained active with solo work, recently releasing the album Ooowee, which featured collaborations with Xzibit, B-Real, Coyote, and K.A.A.N.
With This Thing of Ours arriving in April, “By Any Means” offers another preview of the trio’s latest chapter as a collective rooted in West Coast hip-hop tradition.
